Editor and Columnist of the Month - Santiago Bluhm
This is the first time we have awarded both editor and columnist of the month to one person. In his time at The Pelican Post Santiago Bluhm has pushed the boundaries of what we thought was possible with our magazine. In his role as a columnist he has approached writing through a Historical lens, something which no other columnist has done prior to his work. As Chief History Editor, Santiago has opened our magazine to a whole new demographic of columnists - Historians. Through his incredible work he has truly shown us what a star Pelican Post member truly is. Well done Santiago!

About us
The Pelican Post was founded by Gavin Austin (BC, Abraham) and James Xiao (BC, School) in 2025 to provide a platform initially for A-Level Politics students to voice their thoughts on contemporary issues.
Since then, the Post has expanded to a multidisciplinary space for pupils of all year groups to voice opinions, write and commentate on anything from culture, sports and the arts, to history and economics in our political sphere.
We hope this platform of expression, intellectual creativity and freedom will continue to provide unique perspectives for our readers.
